I have been working with Connie since 2007 when she was a nurse midwife at St. Joseph’s hospital. At Canyon Midwifery I am a birth RN and help with office work and billing.I started working with Connie from the very beginning of Canyon Midwifery.

We always joke that “birth” is our family business. Some families’ own restaurants, we love nurturing families.I love working in home birth settings because it is such a privilege to witness the birth of family.

Women and their partners work together and conquer fears and limitations and we get to be a part of it. It’s the ultimate privilege to be invited in to the most amazing and vulnerable point of their lives and nurture and support them through it.

I graduated with my bachelors in nursing from ASU. For my 14-year career I have always taken care of women and newborns. I first worked at Good Sam for 2 years in postpartum, high-risk antepartum and transition nursery. The last 12 years I have worked at St. Joseph’s Hospital in labor and delivery. I have always enjoyed challenging myself and am skilled at taking care of both low risk and high-risk pregnancies. I feel that my experience with high-risk pregnancies makes me even better at taking care of low risk women because I can identify when something is abnormal.

I have a wonderful husband named Eric, who happens to be Connie’s second son, and a beautiful daughter named Madisen who was delivered by her grandma Connie and 2 gorgeous fur babies.
